These terms govern the use of aboutyourlove.website and the engagement of About Your Love Websites’ services. By ordering, you accept these conditions.
1. Services
We create wedding websites, digital invitations and a planner (PDF and interactive tool), based on the information and content provided by the couple.
2. Prices and payment
The applicable prices are those shown on the site at the time of order. Payments are processed securely by Stripe. Unless stated otherwise, work begins after payment is confirmed.
3. Delivery and collaboration
The stated timelines (e.g. a few business days) start once we receive all the necessary information, text and photos. Delays in providing these push delivery back by the same amount.
4. Personalisation and changes
Plans include the personalisation levels described on the pricing page. Small text and image corrections are included for the first 30 days after delivery; larger changes may be quoted separately.
5. Couple’s content
The couple warrants that they hold the rights to the text, photos and other content they send us, and that its use on the site does not infringe third-party rights. The couple retains ownership of that content.
6. Intellectual property
The code, design, templates and the About Your Love brand are ours or our licensors’. The couple receives the right to use the commissioned site for their wedding; reselling or redistributing the template is not permitted.
7. Site duration and availability
Unless agreed otherwise, the site stays active for 12 months from the wedding date, renewable by agreement. We strive to keep the service available, but occasional interruptions may occur for maintenance or causes beyond our control (providers, force majeure).
8. Refunds
As personalised digital content, the right of withdrawal may not apply once work has begun. If something isn’t right, talk to us — we always look for a fair solution.
9. Acceptable use
The services may not be used for unlawful or deceptive purposes or in ways that infringe third-party rights. We reserve the right to suspend content that breaches these terms or the law.
10. Liability
We provide the service with the utmost care and professionalism. To the extent permitted by law, our liability is limited to the amount paid for the service in question. We are not liable for indirect losses.
11. Data protection
The processing of personal data is governed by our Privacy Policy, available at /privacidade.
12. Governing law and jurisdiction
These terms are governed by Portuguese law. Any dispute falls under the courts of About Your Love’s registered seat, without prejudice to consumers’ rights to alternative dispute resolution.
